Translation :- 

Heavy rains in Madhyapradesh have caused the gates of Narmada dam to open, alert on the river brim. 

• The 5 gates of the dam were opened at a level of 1.40 meters.

As the water released from omkareshwar dam due to heavy rains in Madhyapradesh entered sardar sarovar, 5 gates of narmada dam were opened by 1.40 meters at 8 am on Thursday to maintain the rule level.

The released of 95 thousand cusecs of water from the river though RBPH and gates has relieved the low - lying areas of four districts Bharuch, Narmada, Chhota udaypur and Vadodara. The level of narmada dam increased rapidly during the day on Thursday. At the 7 pm on Thursday, the dam touched the 136.39 meters the seasons highest level.

Heavy rains have disrupted life in Kullu and solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The beas river in Kullu has turned into a ranging river. Due to which the danger has increased the villeges and settlement located on the banks of the river. Seeing the seriousness of the situation , the administration has shifted the people living on the banks of the river of to safer places. Apart of this , the water level of the sarabari river which meet the beas , and the Parvati river of the manikarn valley have also increased significantly.

ONGC કૂવામાં આગ લાગતાં ૧૨ લોકો દાઝી ગયા.

સુરત :- સુરત જિલ્લાના ઓલપાડ તાલુકાના દીહેન ગામ નજીક ઓઈલ એન્ડ નેચરલ ગેસ કોર્પોરેશન (ONGC) ના જાળવણી હેઠળના કૂવામાં આગ લાગવાથી ૧૨ લોકો દાઝી ગયા હતાં. આ એ જ કૂવો છે જ્યાં બુધવારે ગેસ નીકળવાનું શરૂ થયું હતું જેના કારણે સ્થાનિકોમાં ભયનો માહોલ સર્જાયો હતો. એક મહત્વ પૂર્ણ જાળવણી ટીમ (CMT) ને કૂવામાં વાલ્વમાંથી ગેસ નીકળતો અટકાવવા માટે ૪૦ કલાક થી વધુ સમય લાગ્યો. જોકે, ગેસ નો પ્રવાહ સંપૂર્ણપણે રોકાયો ન હતો. 

ONGC ના અધિકારીઓ જણાવ્યું હતું કે સંચિત ગેસમાં આગ લાગી હતી અને આગ ૨૦ ફૂટ સુધી ફેલાઈ હતી, જેના કારણે CMT ના ૭ સભ્યો સહિત ૧૨ લોકો બળી ગયા હતાં. ઘાયલ થયેલા અન્ય લોકોમાં ક્રેન ઓપરેટર અને હેલ્પરનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. સૂત્રોએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે આગ ૫ કલાક પછી પણ ભડકી રહી હતી. ત્યારથી આ સ્થળ માનવ વસવાટથી ૧.૫ કી. મી થી વધુ દૂર છે. તેથી કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ કે મિલકતને કોઈ ખતરો નથી.

પાટણમાં અકસ્માતમાં ત્રણ એન્જિનિયરિંગ વિધાર્થીઓના મોત.

પાલનપુર :- ત્રણ એન્જિનિયરિંગ વિધાર્થીઓના શનિવારે પાટણ જીલ્લાના ચાણસ્મા નજીક રણુઝ-ઇસ્લામ-પુર પર થયેલા અકસ્માતમાં મોત થયા હતાં. ઘાયલોને પાટણની ધારપુર હોસ્પિટલમાં 🏥 ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા છે. 

ચાણસ્મા પોલીસ સ્ટેશનના પોલીસ સબ-ઇન્સ્પેક્ટર કે. એસ. જયસ્વાલે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ગાંધીનગરમાં સંજીવની એન્જિનિયરિંગ કૉલેજના પાંચ વિધાર્થીઓ તેમના મિત્રના ઘરે સપ્તાહાંત માણવા માટે પાટણ જઇ રહ્યા હતાં. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે અકસ્માત ત્યારે થયો જ્યારે કાર ચાલકે રસ્તાની ખોટી બાજુએ બેઠેલા ટુ વ્હીલર ચાલકને બચાવવાના પ્રયાસમાં કાર પરનો કાબુ ગુમાવ્યો અને કાર ઝાડ સાથે અથડાઈ ગઈ. 

મૃતકોની ઓળખ પાટણના ચિન્યા વિસ્તારના જય કુમાર,  અમદાવાદ નારણપુરાના કુલદીપ કુમાર પટેલ અને ગાંધીનગર જિલ્લાના કલોલના અશોક દરઝી તરીકે થઈ છે. તે બધા ૧૯ વર્ષના હતાં.
